The Canberra Gliding Club (CGC) operates from Bunyan Airfield, also known as the Cooma Soaring Centre, beside the Monaro Highway, about 12km North of Cooma.

Flight Training
Gliding is affordable and instruction is free. Costs are very significantly less than power-flying training, paid progressively as you learn or fly. You do not have to own a glider to participate, the clubs' single seat gliders are more than adequate for all but the most competitive pilot.

We offer two types of air experience flights, standard and deluxe. You can pay at the airfield on the day of your flight.
