Following the Gliding Australia training syllabus, you will work your way to solo flight, then on to your full licence, and the excitement of long-distance soaring.

Join the ClubThe Canberra Gliding Club has been established for over fifty years, offering pilot training in gliders and air experience flights, all conducted by experienced instructors in modern two-seat fibreglass training aircraft.
We also have a club house and hangar facilities on our own airfield. The local scenery is very special and under the right conditions from above 7000ft you can see from the NSW snow fields to the Tasman Sea.
Bunyan Airfield - Cooma Soaring Centre
Located an hour South of Canberra, 10mins past Bredbo, and 15mins from Cooma, Bunyan Airfield on the Monaro Highway is home to the Canberra Gliding Club.
Visitors please follow the road to the clubhouse, or pull up next to the horse float if we have aircraft operating on the runways.
